Les Enfants offers a total early childhood education experience for children from infancy through preschool. We are open year-round from 7:30 am-6:30 pm and offer both full time and part time programs. Les Enfants is licensed by the State of New Jersey and is affiliated with the New Jersey and National Child Care Association (NJCCA, NCCA) and the New Jersey and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NJAEYC, NAEYC). We provide a loving, safe, and clean learning environment for your child protected by the use of video cameras in the classrooms and security systems on all doors.

Infants (2-12 months)
Our Infant program provides a warm and nurturing environment for your baby to grow and develop. Infant schedules are individual to their specific needs. Progress charts are sent home daily. Our high staff to child ratio allows our caregivers to provide your infant with that special pampered treatment which makes them feel loved and secure.

Toddlers and Tots (12 -24 months)
Play is the medium through which children of this age learn best about themselves and the world around them. This program provides many opportunities for exploration and growth at each child’s individual pace.

Little Learners (24-36 months)
Learning takes place through a program which stresses socialization, verbalization, and increased independence. A combination of play and planned educational experiences is part of each day’s activities for this group.

Preschool
Our Pre-K Prep, Pre-K 3, and Pre-K 4 programs are designed to introduce our preschoolers to the excitement and enjoyment of learning. Our child-centered curriculum is made up of fun-filled learning experiences in many areas including reading and math readiness, social studies, science, art, and music. Classrooms are organized into learning centers which encourage creativity, exploration, and problem solving.

After School Care
Les Enfants operates this program for our school age children. Children may attend after their regular school day and also during their elementary school vacation weeks.

Summer Camp

Les Enfants preschool offers a fun-filled summer experience for the 2 ½ through 10 year old child. Sign-up is on a flexible basis with 5-10 week sessions available. Summer fun is enhanced by different weekly themes, art & crafts, and outdoor activities on our spacious playground. A swimming program is available to preschool and senior campers three times a week at the beautiful Palisades Park Swim Club. Children also enjoy weekly special events, including carnivals and field trips to fun places such as aquariums, zoos, planetariums, children’s museums and amusement centers. Trips are grouped by age.

Afternoon enrichment programs include “Computertots”, “Mr. Joe’s Kid’z Musik”, “Kicking Kids Karate” and ballet with "Karen's Dancing Footnotes". Certified teachers lead older groups of children, while the little ones are in the care of a mature and experienced staff.

Enrichment Programs and Special Events

Daily activities at Les Enfants are enhanced through the use of many special programs and people.

Music- A stimulating program encompassing singing, movement, and musical instruments is provided weekly for all classes. In addition, a special music class is available for our preschoolers.

Computers- In addition to the use of computers in our regular curriculum, special computer classes are offered to our preschoolers.

Field Trips-Our Pre-K classes are taken on fun and educational outings to such places as the theater, zoos, farms, museums, and aquariums. Field trips are mostly taken during our Summer Camp session; however some trips are taken during the Fall session.

Ballet- Pre-ballet classes are offered to our budding stars. Children learn about dance, movement, and music as part of their ballet experience.

Karate- Our karate classes offer an exciting introduction to the world of martial arts. Karate instills a strong foundation of self-discipline and confidence in our children. Karate is only offered during Summer Camp.

Safety and Security

For the safety of our children, classrooms and common areas of the Center are monitored and recorded via security cameras.

Doors to our facilities are kept locked and accessed by parents and staff by use of a number code.

Evacuation drills are practiced on a monthly basis with all age groups and emergency procedures are in place for unexpected events.
